We use the Junior Micro Librarian electronic library system in school to manage our fantastic library. The system can be used at home by downloading a free app to a mobile phone or tablet (see link below). Your child's individual log in details are written inside their Learning Journal (page 10) and is the barcode number for both username and password. 

This will enable pupils to monitor their own account, browse our library stock and read book reviews written by their friends.

It will give parents/carers the opportunity to help their child select the next book and to monitor reading progress. There is lots more information on the website which you can access by following the link below.

Reading Ambassadors

We welcome applications each year from pupils who would like to be the class Reading Ambassador. The role involves meeting as a group at least once every half term to discuss ways to promote reading for pleasure. This can include looking at improvements/changes to our library, purchasing new resources, competitions and helping to organise World Book Day activities.

In addition to this, the Reading Ambassadors circulate the books during their class library sessions and promote the use of the iMLS Student App.
